How does it work? A design is "digitized" into a stitch language and loaded onto a computer that sends the file to an embroidery machine. Each thread color in the design is pulled through a separate needle.
Pros: Looks very professional on garments. Can be used on caps, bags, and jackets where other methods cannot be used due to heat sensitivity, bulkiness, etc.
Cons: Design must be turned into machine stitch language. Usually takes time to digitize and the first time setup is extensive.
Note: Used for products needing a high-end look and feel such as caps, dress shirts, polo/golf shirts, & bags.
